10Speed
I'm 're-wiring' a bike and I have fitted a new CDI ( http://www.powerdynamo.biz/eng/systems/ ... 98inst.php ) that produces lots of AC watts. I have a DC regulator (for no reason other than that's what came with the CDI). Can I wire everything to the frame/chassis ground? Ie can the AC ignition side and the DC lighting side of things both have the frame as negative? Please say yes as it will make wiring much easier, considering the design of the light fittings on the bike etc
10Speed
just to answer my own question - it turns out you can... (and btw my Bantam is now a runner, although the timing is still about a million degrees off...)
