Taddis Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Hey team, just replaced cam chain, tensioner and water pump on my 3T corona wagon. for some reason it will only just start after abit of patience and when it does it will only stay running with foot half on gas and it sounds like its running on two. it has fuel and spark. not sure what problem is. will maybe replace spark plugs and possibly leads. but maybe its something different, any tips or info out there. my mate dropped a plug and we re gapped it roughly. maybe this would be the cause. but it sounds a lot worse then an un gapped spark plug. note - was running perfectly fine before cam chain etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

babz Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 i have a complete 3T-EU engine(alternator , power steering , air-con ) less manifolds if you are interested. Came out of a working TA-63 Carina. 157-160psi on all four cylinders. $200 and its yours Also have s-series mounts and cross memebr that came out of a SA60 if you are interested. PM me.
