MrMcdoll Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Sup all. I need to get the starter core reconditioned on my VF1000r. I replaced the brushes and the brush assembly but the rotor/armature is all fucked up. It'll spin up when it's not in the bike but it tends to stick a bit, and when it's in the bike it wont budge and all I get is solenoid clicking it's tits off. I'm thinking it might also be an earthing problem?? Any suggestions of a home-fix or otherwise, a good place to send it to get recon'd that's cheap and hopefully near Hamilton would be great! Thanks!
