Sorensin
No I only have the mega jolt unit itself atm, i asked slayer00 if he could make me up a wheel and how much that would be. Ok what better to go through my crank or cam? Or am I forced to use either? What coil should I be buying for a 1600 crossflow? whats the best way to mount the wheel? Cheers
bubblegoose
collect the bits first you can start fitting stuff and not have to disable you car, once its all installed just swap over to the mega system
bubblegoose
as for the wheel i have a picture of one you can print out to any size and take to a guy with a lathe and mill
Sorensin
That'd be awesome thanks, I've been told to just steal a whole system from like a mondeo or 90's capri or similar but what exactly do I need to get?
bubblegoose
the EDIS4 module the crank sensor and a suitable coilpack (the ford ones need special leads so dont bother) a pair of twin post mitsi ones from an 80 galant etc are a good replacement, so are 3 wire suabru coil packs you have a MAP version dont you? so you wont need throttle sensor and the trigger wheel, i have heard of people using 36tooth motorcycle sprockets and filing the tips off the teeth then removing one
