HighLUX
Was looking at getting one of these kits off trademe, anybody using one? are they crap or not to bad quality? Want to put one on the 3sge in the townace since the oil filter is in a cunt of a place to get at. Would a kit with a built in thermostat be recommended? HighLUX
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Performance/Radiators-cooling-systems/auction-252067719.htm Something like this then add an oil cooler to it, and as 3sge engines have a problem with low oil pressure on startup due to the angle the filter sits on im hopping it will help fix this problem

My name is Russell
I presume you dont want to over cool your oil also so perhaps this is a good kit http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 823402.htm
FLAWLES
i peaced mine up with alot of parts, but the one i used on my 4agze ( then sold it ) was b and m from memory oil thermostat is a good idea, so if you can get one bulit into your sandwhich plate get it
My name is Russell
Sorry whats "b and m" is that a type sold on tardme? The FE3 engine im running originally had a water cooled filter, and im adding a turbo so figured adding oil cooler would probably be a good idea. How much extra head does a turbo throw into the oil? Aiden was saying once oil get hot its hard to cool down and that a cooler was a good idea.

bubblegoose
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 152381.htm they have built in thermostats and apparently look pretty good when bolted to the front bumper
