ProZac
Jusding from the shifter position, i'd say Sigma/Early Galant. Measure the distance between the top two bellhousing bolts, and also the bottom two, will tell you if its 'wide' or 'narrow' block... Will probably be narrow, but if it came out of something with a 4g5* motor, it could be either.
rwdlancer
hmm man that sucks. theres three holes at the top of the gearbox im guessing for either wideblock or narrowblock? 110mm and 130mm. will this gearbox work in an ex lancer or shud i just not even bother trying? ProZac
Will work, but you'll need to trim the shifter hole in the gearbox tunnel a little, a couple of inches in the rear ought to do it. Might need to play with the trim inside aswell. Good thing about using this gearbox is that your prop shaft should fit it, the L200 boxes i've seen have the bigger output spline. rwdlancer
sweet i will give it a go. my gearbox sits forward about an inch for some reason.so maybe this gearbox will fit quite nicely.what kind of driveshaft do you use if you put a l200 gearbox in a lancer then?
