Are running 40mm Chokes which i presume will b far too big so suggestions on that would b useful . Will b porting the head myself have heard of people running 180b valves what size are these. Just do the basics to make the carbs work - bit more compression, cam etc. Not sure about specifics of valvetrain etc... Maybe go and ask on clubk? Dell'orto Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 From memory the 180B valves are a couple of mm bigger, but they're quite a bit longer in the stem. A15 ones are good. If you aren't boring out heaps then you're pretty limited with big valves anyway. Would probably sell on the 45's and get some 40's to keep the inlet velocity up.
