mixmasterlex
Anyone know much about them? If they are maintained are they pretty reliable? Looking at an old 87 wagon. Turbz... Might try and find a non turbo one tho as I know they are pretty bullet proof. Do they have much grunt?

cubastreet
The EA82 turbo is reliable if you don't let it overheat. Make sure the radiator, hoses and water pump are good and you'll be fine. They don't have a hell of a lot of grunt but they're fun to drive. The real bulletproof engine is the EA81, 81-85ish.

But really like the older subbys. And don't want to spend much Super keen on station wagon idea tho. Be awesome for carrying my BMX, some PC boxes, some hoz... Plus keen for 4wd off road action skids.
