MarkII Grande Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Hi all i have a 79 MarkII grande sedan , ive own it for year and half . just thinking to put a newer engine into it , for now its m-eu. straight 6 efi,auto.... what new engine do you guys recon? im thinking 1jz or 2jz, but now sure if the engine will straight bolt up or do i need to modify the mount?? any expert?? thanks guys peter here is the pic after i put the mags on ,just bought the car hours and hours paint process , fk the paint stripper, where ever it goes the paint came off. on prima finally But after several month the rust came out because i didnt fix the surface rust properly, so i sent it to a panel beater to fix the rust and make the panel straight , its now on pearl white.... Mr dori Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 youll of course need to fabricate some new engine brackets, youll probley be able to match some sort of gbox crossmember up.. depending if your gana stay auto or go manual all the bellhousing flywheel will get mega expensive!
