johnnyfive
Small update, you'll all soon get sick of these half finished updates. I figure its a way to trick myself into thinking theres been progress. I still have not so much idea about what I'm doing, surely theres more to it. Cardboard. Weee patch. The more important piece. Will attempt to make the same thing for the other side, and perhaps electric them in this weekend.

johnnyfive
So I managed to do some more today, a bit less hungover than yesterday. Gonna need some more gas and etch primer soon. Cut off some bits that were shit Made some bits that were loosely the same Splat splat bzzzt Bzzzt splat splat Then I attempted to remove rust from the towing eye brackets without having to recreate any of their funky shapes/3dimensions. The other side was a bit more awkward/shitty. At this point I gave up for the day and went for a rollerskate.

Gonna try somewhere else for a while. Bought some shit saw horses, took off this brown metal(ish) thing. Did stuff to it, found holes, with bog in them. Did more stuff, could be worse? Cut stuff out of here. And some more off there. Then pretended like I knew what I was doing. Maybe tomorrow I'll do some more, maybe I'll sleep till 2pm instead.

johnnyfive
K, so photobucket somehow hooned through 13gig of bandwidth or something. A little bit more work happened. Not heaps. Ran out of wire, this should last a while. So yeah, its kinda warped, but turns out the back of the car is less square than the tailgate so hey. Probably passable with bog? Ok! Then these guys came and we hung out. Circumstances have changed a little bit with the work space situation, so not much gonna happen till I can find somewhere to work on it permanently/buy a house.
