fuel
That 4G63 link is only specific to the Evo III. Remember, the 4G63 started in 1980 and is still in production today. 4G63 could be a SOHC 8V carby engine, or could be a MIVEC DOHC turbo like in the Evo 9, unlike Nissan/Toyota etc Mitsi doesn't have a designation on the engine number for DOHC, EFI, Mivec - only T for turbo. Basically - 4G63 SOHC 8V carby from 1980 to 1988 was approx 90hp@5500rpm to 110hp@5000rpm depending if RWD or FWD, or low comp/high comp. 4G63 SOHC 8V turbo was 150hp as found in RWD Galant/Eterna and Starion. Intercooler versions were approx 170hp. Sirius DASH 3x2 was 200hp. 4G63 DOHC 16V in the E39A was 220hp, or 240hp for RS and Evolution models. Evo I was 250hp, Evo II was 260hp, Evo III was 270hp. 4G63 DOHC from 96 onwards (Evo 4 shape), changed orientation in the engine bay. Evo 4 to 8 is restricted to 280hp, but is usually much more with the newer Evolutions.
Gaz
Mates Evo7 was dynod when standard at 245hp @ wheels which would work out at around 208KW at engine which is what they are suposed to be. Dyno to dyno are differant.
