Guest WESTCORT

did you just chuck the wire that goes to the old coil onto the new coil when to changed to electronic ignition? you want to bypass this wire as it has a ballast built in and run a new switched wire from the fusebox.

sounds like the starter is sucking all the juice at start up leaving no volts for coil u could try a larger batt cable to starter and run coil directly from ign with a larger than stock cable too. MSD stuff is the shizz but i have heard that the coils suck mega volts so an upgrade in cableing may be nessesary

well i think i mite try replaceing some of the wireing with new thicker stuf it cranks over really dam fast so theres no problem there but everynow and then when it trys to spark the engine juders and slows right down like the timeing is out again but i didnt do that at all with the other coil :S
