RT
It's interesting but unfortunately thats probably all it is... you see, it's still a pinto head with a cam box modified onto it. So all pinto ports and 8 valve etc. So... I personally can't see a any massive gains to be had except being able to have a slightly better overlap on the exhaust cam. Not much better than a correctly ground single cam. looks cool though!

Gaz
those 8v heads are cunties arnt they. Does look damn good. Wonder what itll go for.
RT
what do you mean? it isn't a 8valve twincam sierra. it's just a sohc pinto head with the cam towers ground off and a twin tower box bolted in. So in everyother respect it's just the same as a 8 valve pinto.
Gaz
Shit it went for alot seeing its not that special like you say.
RT
what did it go for? it is special, it would allow extra overlap on the cams etc.. and I guess it would inprove valve lift as well. But I can't see it doing that much really.

Gaz
Would it be better than a standard head worked with that amount of money?
Pushrod
I think that how rare that is would have bumped the price up heaps regardless of the benefits of it
RT
totally.. it's pretty rare and anything rare is expensive. I think if you spent all that cash on a standard head it would be better. It's baically equal with a single cam pinto head that's been fitted with big valves and a modern cam grind, except it allows you to muck around with the exhaust overlap etc more since you can run two cams. It would probably allow more lift as well which would be helpful. But for that kind of money you'd be dissapointed with the performance for sure. Looks really cool though!
