WildPlumDx Posted September 12, 2005 Share Posted September 12, 2005 hey guys just found a large puddle of oil under my car was a light oil wasnt motor oil would this be trans oil??? also it looks as if its leaking from where the bellhousing bolts onto the engine at the bottom point closest to the ground ooh also the oil had like water droplets mixed in the oil too cant work it out !? Hemi Posted September 13, 2005 Share Posted September 13, 2005 first off what kinda motor u have?? cos old gearbox oil is usually quite thick (like diff oil) , but newer oil is more like motor oil so u dont have the problem when cold like the older boxes , l manual or auto??? if auto then it might be brownish??? and thats quite thin oil (should usually actually be red but yea ) , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
