L0WMK2
mines loud as i only had standard carb and had to enlarge fuel jets because of the exhaust got twin carbs to bolt on now
Guest AbLaZ3
what you guys reckon bout this?? it'll be extractors- original piping - coby in centre - original piping then that droopy?
RT
nope. not if you want performance gains, factory piping has to go..
Guest AbLaZ3
oh shite. the midas dude said the originals would be all sweet because the GT's etc use them and they go all good. am i on the right track though? bar the standard piping?
RT
given a factory engine then he is right, the factory piping is fine. But most people would go for something bigger so that when they do mod the engine it can flow the extra exhaust out. extractors, 2.25 piping, coby, 2.25 pipe and droppy. get a K&N and some cold air induction, then get a ported head and a cam, stick some bigger jets in your carb and get it tuned and you'll be hummin ! CaMpylobacter
yeah man, probably would want to position the coby toward the back, and have a resonator up front, or, a coby in the middle, coby at rear.... I;m not really a fan of JUST coby's on exhausts, they tend to drone in my experiences with them. although they're cheap, and flow mean as so yeah, noise = all good
