Bistro Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Ok fullas, heres the deal. My mates got a 78 BMW 318 I think. 4 banger. It has had a problem of not being able to easily getting into gear while running so he changed the slave for the clutch. The problem is not fixed so we get a box/clutch/presureplate/thrust bearing from a wrecked one and got it in there in the weekend. Problem still occurs. I think i was trying to say was 'it has been happening for a while now'. When the enigine is running you really have to wrestle it into gear and it is dam near impossible sometimes.
