Toucan
ok i just fixed my quarter window... it was on my wagon.. so they are mk1 doors.... i was lucky enough to happen to be in whangerei on sunday and i just happened to be at scort van mans house and he just happened to have a van with the same doors... we got the glass out.... but fuck me its a fuckign mission to put in... especially if you want to do it without scratching the paint on your piller.. cos you need to take it out.. and you should take out the main window seals. this is the way i did it.... i put the seal around the glass first.... drilled ou the rivets holding the pillar in at the top of the door...took the door cards off unscrewed the bottem of the pillar which is also the window guide to do it properly you should take the window out as well and the seals and the remove the pillar... but i just pushed the pillar right down into the door and squeezed the window in and pulled th pillar back up... its not easy though.... i also did it at night which wasn't the best either Thats all I can find, I thought I had posted up how to do it after I replaced my rear quarter window, but can't find it. The owners manual kinda covers it, its just a matter of having enough hands to help out, and make sure you tape everything so that you don't scratch your new paint
