do sierra strut assemblies drop straight intoan escort or with easy modification? if not is there an upgrade u can do instead of escort ones?

i have some sierra struts im going to put in my car i dont think the struts will blot in but if you take the whole hub of (disc etc) and bolt it up to you escort strut witht the sierra brake calliper it will work thats what im going to do - well it should work :s

Yes, Capri struts...

If you find a 2.8i S then you get Bilstein shocks, vented discs and 4 pot brakes! :twisted: But you won't find any! I havn't. :cry:

Realisticly unless you plan on serious rallying then Bilsteins are not going to do fuck all.

So if it's just a stronger strut and a brake upgrade then just grab a set of 1600 capri struts. Mk1 capri will bolt straight in MK1 escort and MK2/3 to MK2 otherwise you've got the imperial to metric to sort out. Not too difficult..

If you want 4pot brakes find some Austin Princess callipers, they bolt straight on standard discs and make a massive difference!! If you run em on a vented discs then you need to get a spacer plate to spread them out.
