Guest 78lancer Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 i now have a 5spd and drive shaft from a 4g32 EX lancer, i am wondering if it will fit in my tunnel fine and if the drive shaft will be the right lenght, so i now have my spare 4spd up or sale if any1 would like 2 by 1 for a spare or manual conversion, my lancer is the shape b4 EX lancers so im not sure if the wheel base is the same Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest 79_lancer_colt Posted March 22, 2005 Share Posted March 22, 2005 hi ive got a 79 lancer colt and i just converted it 5spd and put a new motor in it (4g36) and the 5 spds fit with ease, using original drive shaft and diff, the only prob is the gear box mount has to be changed on the gear box and the gear box is a bit longer but they have more holes to bolt them in so they line up fine, i have heaps of spare parts if ur interested and i need a f LH guard and indicater 4 my one go smashd by sum1 hu couldnt drive hiting mr car, i have just rebuilt the car and its getting painted now but guard is still stuffed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
