And check for retaining screws if any. There must be a better way to get seized ones off though if anyone knows then hook us up!!

-Yes first check for retaining screws on the face of the drum between the wheel studs and remove.

-Next find the hand brake cable adjustment and back it off as this will let the drums over the shoes inside

- Then us your oil can and put some oil around spigot of the axle in the centre of the drum

- There is quite often 2 M8 threaded holes between the wheel studs, if so wind in a couple of bolts until the drums pop loose.

- If no threaded holes then you will have to hit it with a hammer around the outside edge carefull not to damage the drum

- This is when the oil comes into play as it breaks up the rust as you work off the drum

Do 1 side at a time!!!!

When your putting it back together you can look at the other side to figure it out!

Depends on the type of car but basically get all the springs off then change the hydraulic wheel cylinders, then fit the new shoes,

Back off the hand brake cable if someone has been playing with that.

Adjust the adjuster till just before the shoes bind on the drums and then your done.

If you had to back off the handbrake cable then adjust it back to take up the slack. Any further adjustment for wear should be done in the drums as above!
