  1. I brought my triumph over with me from the uk and had to dismantle it when it came over in the container. After 2 house moves and buy more parts ive decided to go in a different direction. this is how it used to look.
  2. ive hunted high and low for a new flexplate and theyre like hens teeth. ive kept everything so as when i do get the part i need i can put it back to original
  3. im going to be putting a holden 202 and trimatic box in my vauxhall viscount until i can get a flexplate for the original engine. the original gearbox is a 2 speed powerglide. id like to keep the column change but obviously the powerglide is 2 speed and the trimatic is 3. Is there any way i can still use the column change or will i have to use a floor shifter?
  4. did you manage to find any wheels for the vauxhall. i have a viscount and im having the same problem. i know jeep cherokee have the same pcd but unsure of the offset. i know a couple of guys in the uk have put 15inch jensen interceptor rims on theirs with good results
  5. most of the bits on my vauxhall are either missing and muntered and very few people seem to be able to help me in finding parts for it e.g flexplate. i was thinking of reliability, ease of finding parts and power
  6. how hard would it be to transplant a Holden V6 motor into my Viscount and what sort of problems will I have when I come to Cert it. Im from the UK originally and over there you can basically put any engine you want in a car then take it for a wof without any probs

  8. Hi ive got 69 Vauxhall Viscount and have discovered that the flexplate is muntered. Im having trouble finding a replacement and when i ask auto shops about it when they hear Vauxhall they dont want to know. Does anyone where I can find one or know of an alternative that will fit e.g from a holden or chev?
