  4. OK I am about to slip some new bushes into the rear shackles of the 'box. I expect they will be tighter than the neighbours cat to get in. Do I use normal grease or something special like his and hers KY jelly?
  5. OK I will talk to those fellas when it is time to get that done. Looking at most lowered road anglias 2" is heaps to drop em, so turning the eyes may be too much Cheers Felixx
  6. Cool, so it might pay to get the springs done to say 30mm, then use blocks to finetune the final 15-20mm? Cheers for the help guys. UJ I wonder why you asked if I had lever arms or telescopic?
  7. Hi UJ, I still have lever arm shocks. Will this make a difference? And Beaver, No offence taken. I just want to do this right.
  8. OK just fishing for info here. In the future, i would like to lower my anglia about 45 -50mm It has leaves in the back. These are 1967 vintage. My first question is can you retemper leaf springs for a lower ride height? If so how much does it cost to get done properly? Or should I just use blocks? Please give me the pros and cons for both. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am as mechanical as a goldfish.

  22. LOLs, nope I have a plan for her. She will look good AND be driveable.
  23. It would be worthy of so much praise, but with the mighty 997cc producing 39 BHP having it that low would be a waste. I want it to be driveable on chch roads, so should raise it by 2" On lotus steel rims it will look goooood
  24. nah 2 inches is heaps on one of these. i dont want to trim the guards (which you need to do). I have some decent speed humps either way when I turn out of my street too!
