Binned the buell going into rothmans a bit too hot.
stood it up on the grass and tried really really hard to stop it on the brown grass.
sky/ground, sky/ ground for a bit, stopped really close to the tyre wall with the buell very close to me.
bent 2 small bolts on the buell, 5 min fix.
body a bit battered, but will be fine for tomorrow.
there was a super bad crash in a race I was not in.
Have had better days at the track.
but will be back tomorrow.

have just put a golden boy (SR241) on the front of the postie bike.
also got a pirelli sport demon coming for the front of the bonneville.
completely different tyres, but perfect for the application / budget.

normally buy the best tyre I can afford at the time

I'm led to believe Buells are a tad tyre sensitive. I'm sure you know someone to ask.
ask 10 people about the best tyre to use, you will get 20 answers.
and none of them will be correct for the way you ride on the bike you are asking about.

Doing the sound of thunder this year, bonneville and buell.
never had the buell on the track, but there is a container load of Harley’s and Buell’s coming from Tasmania.
roaring sporties.
sounds like fun, the buell has done just over 100,000 ks, perfect time to give it a hoon.
tempted to take the aprilia, but the level of racing in that class might be a bit much for an old fat man…

tempted to take the nbc110, but the xr125 is much better suited to me being a fat old man.

nbc110, have replaced gearbox bearings, centrifugal clutch unit, cam chain and rollers.
loud whining noise when in gear.
was like that when i got it, ex Dunedin postie bike with about 65000 ks on it.
frame was broken at the swing arm pivot.
has been ridden into the ground in anger by a postie.

What are you riding this year?
probably the xr125, unless I can find a gearbox for the nbc110 in time.

there are diodes on the back of the headlight motors that blow or vibrate off.

replaced gearbox bearings in the nbc110 today, hoping that was where the noise was coming from.
nope. sounds like whirring noises, probably badly worn from the rooted bearings that were in it.
bugger.
anyone got a nbc110 gearbox/ bottom half of one?

Cheers dude.
I bought one of these guys panels through palmside a while ago (battery tray). Unfortunately Palmside don't stock the radiator panels. I did look into buying the radiator panel direct from steelpanels.co.uk but it's over 1k nzd and a 3 month wait list.
Does anyone know of a front cut? Or a wrecking Capri?
this bloke did the front guard on my Capri about a year ago.
top quality work, located in governors bay.
is building a widebody capri in steel.
