  1. yea sure does, only problem is im missing one.
  2. looking good. where do i place my order?
  3. Fitted some new tyres to the equips today. 165 60s all round which gave a few troubles getting them on the 8s but got it sorted in the end. Also got round to installing the ae86 cluster, i swapped the odometers over to keep original kms. Heres a few shots of my dads supercharged ae86 that ive been borrowing for the drift south street legal class. discuss: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32955 Callum
  4. Just went and measured the sway bar, turns out its only 22mm. I got the heavy duty bar off trademe but was made by chamberlains in Christchurch.
  5. Thought it was about time for an update. picked up this wing a while back, i don't really plan on running it. I don't think it suits the rest of the car. Got a 90 degree reducer for the filter so that its not as cramped. Also twisted the camber plates around to add more caster. Swapped out the wood grain hand brake for a black one. Heavy duty sway bar (26mm compared to 23mm) with extra caster pull. Haven't put this in yet as i need to modify brackets/to lazy. T3 knuckles for putting in ae86 struts. discuss: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25224 I need to hurry up and get this thing certed, sick of not driving it. any chance of getting a new page. thanks Callum
  6. dont think there was a discussion yet. um not sure what motor im going to use yet, something N/A and high revving or possibly a 4agze.
  7. So i picked up some work equip 01s, haven't measured them yet but i think they are 14x8 - something and 14x7 + something. This is how they looked when i got them. I didn't like the black centers so i scraped the paint off and gave them a bit of a polish. Also swapped the park lights, headlights, front and rear bumpers for kouki Levin (facelift) items along with fog lights and cut the springs. A shot of the interior which i haven't touched yet. Ive had this ae86 gauge cluster stashed away for a while so finally have a use for it. The bumpers are pretty rough as they are off a drift car from japan but will do till i find some that are better. One of the park lights and indicator lenses are broken so if anyone has any laying around pm me. Callum
  8. im pretty sure the driveshafts are different. also that rust is nothing, wait till i put some photos of mine up.
  9. Ive always wanted an ae8# so when this popped up i couldn't resist, towed it home from Auckland. Its a 1983 zenki Levin factory auto but has been converted to manual using a k50. Some more specs: ae86 disc brake rear end ae86 front brakes tokico adjustable shocks all round king springs hahaha 14x6 impul pro mesh lots of speed holes (rust) It came with a t50, rose jointed lower control arms and a few other little bits and pieces. Just before leaving Auckland. (before getting stuck in the wrong lane and heading back over the harbor bridge) Back home. Unfortunately the rego has lapsed so will need a re-vin. More soon. Callum
  10. So i got the motor all up and running in time for the nostalgic hero meet. relocated the battery to inside the cabin. how the engine bay looks now. I finally got around to painting the mirrors and gave the outside a good tidy up/polish. Photos from the meet/cruise thanks to Hayden Crocker and Daniel Mirfin. Driving a lowish car on the road was nowhere near as bad as i thought it would be, a few bumps and scrapes. disscuss viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25224&p=779415#p779415 Callum
  11. the red ae85 is borrowing parts off his ke70 coupe project, just auto 3au.
  12. Progress has been slow as of late. I got a nice new work space with a lot more room which makes life a lot easier. The motors been out for a couple of months to try fix an oil leak and a few other bits and pieces. Put on a new 10lb flywheel that im borrowing and gave the cam covers a lick of paint. Also gave the motor a good clean. Bought a few parts too. TRD shocks/ coilovers for the rear, not sure if im going to use them as the sleeves are pretty shit. Willwood calipers, 260mm slotted discs all mounted to ae86 struts. just put the motor back in tonight should have it running within a few days. discuss: //oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25224 Callum
  13. yea 175 50s, have you fixed the starting problem on your car?
  14. Not much been happening lately, seems ive got to the expensive part of the build. Swapped some of my tyres onto the work equips thanks to CUL8R. Striped out the interior, bye bye back seats. When i bought my diff it wasn't assembled so finally got around to putting it all together, thought id snap a quick photo. Zenki ae86 non lsd. Just realized I never put up a photo of the unnecessary wires that my mate striped out of the 4age loom and kp loom, still more to be removed. This is his SR20det ke70. discussion //oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic. ... 4&start=40 Callum
  15. yea just faded but has had some average repairs with spray cans before i got it. think i will give it a decent polish one day soon. I saw yours up for sale, you should keep it and get it finished.
  16. i gave it a good cut and polish when i bought it about 6 months ago, i should probably do it again. Cant find where the oils coming from but i think the reason it leaked heaps at the track was because it got really hot as i forgot to turn on my radiator fan. i checked it frequently on the way home and it barely leaked any its a bit of a mystery.
  17. A few new bits and pieces. t3 short shift kit and a genuine trd gear knob. 55% reduction in throw, the trd kit is only about 30% reduction. Picked up these chrome rain guards, about as rare as rocking horse shit. I reckon they look pretty cool. suits the other chrome trim nicely. My mate gave me this badge as someone had removed mine before i got the car. Japanese nostalgia parkup? my dads restored gsx 1100 katana. I went on the oldschool cruise to kaikoura, it was a nice drive around the hills with like minded people. my car didnt have too many problems, just an oil leak or three. Thanks to those who took the photos. tried doing some drifting at the go kart track. i like this photo because it makes my paint look decent (its not). I raised it up for daily use, will be lowered again after certification (the roads here are shit especially after the earthquake). also got some adapter bushes so that i can fit ae86 struts. Im looking for some if anybody has some they are willing to sell or just the brake setup, hubs, disks, calipers etc. discussion viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25224&start=40 Callum
