Yeah pretty much. The E46 was our daily drive and was written off on the motorway while the wife was driving. 3.0 would have been nice, it's a heaaaps better motor.

Ummm E30: body. E46: engine G/box Fr and r suspension diff and brakes Brake booster and pedal box ABS comp (incl speedo sender). Gauge cluster Heater and control panel Wiring loom and body control module Door locks and boot latch/lock Headlight adjusters etc etc etc

Yeah it does. Seems it's ok to race V8 E46s but not to recess the firewall 40mm and shift the engine back! Meh.

Ta fellas. Currently under consideration by the BMW race committee for the 'open series', although not too hopeful. So probably a road/track slag if/when it's done.
