Hey Mish. That sounds like a kick ass motor......will that b 85 at the wheels? Did you do the work yourself? If you dont use the downdraft what will you use???? Wat color are you gona go with the mini? when are you hoping to hav it going????? Cheers

Yea kinda like crazytim. He has a nice collection. The Estates are cool I wish I had more. The race mini has just a 1300 Metro engine in it at the mo. Hope one day to hav something awsome under the flip front someday......just gota get it to work at this stage. Cheers

KK-Kolonel Ya rite bout the metro......they hav 3, one that links the back two hydro units and one for each side at the front. The minis hav 2 nipples on the rear subframe run front to back like the 1300....dunno if they could fit anything else under the bonnet....haha I hav herd bout makin a pump out of an master cylnder. Cheers

Hey ya.....Na they aint the same as mini.......I hav wreked a couple of metros. Got a few bits lyin around. I guess ya could get to them out from unda the guard.......Ya wana drain all the fluid out first.........they got sme pressure in them. I had one fly across the room.

Hey all My 1980 mini It is my first mini. I hav had it for about 17 years. It has a 1330 with a sidedraft 42mm weber. I hav put hilos all round with adjustable camber. it has metro 4pot disc brakes on the front spaced drums on the rear. It has 12 inch mags. Has a set of racepro bucket seats in the front. see pic below

Hey if ya need to replace the hydro unit in the car I got some lying round. They are a bit of a pain to change.

Oh and I know a guy who is doing a spaceframe Estate.......turbo'd 12a running 15s all round. Rear wheel drive the body can be lifted off the frame so he can pit his 15x 10s on.

Hey as requested another Estate pic. Its been taken back 2 bare metal and Pa10'd I hav to sort an Apanel b4 I can Prime n paint it. The front guard is the color the mini will be when I hav finished with the GT stripes. The running gear is out of a rusty 1275 and I decided that it would be cool to hav a Estate verson of the GT Cheers

Hey there.....im not in chch. I do hav a few minis.......3 of them vans. the others are a mix of projects. The blue one is my first one it has a 1330 with a webber. This is my 1275gt estate project......this is not long after I got it. I hav done most of the panel work now. Then I just need to paint n assemble. Cheers
