  1. Depot has picked up the car today from Tottori Nice to get a couple of photos of it not from the seller. Discussion //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/49704-mlracings-hakosuka/
  2. Yeah for sure the rego thing might not be watertight but it's interesting nonetheless
  3. For my curiosity I had NZTA check if there were any current registrations of GC10/KGC10 (didn't ask them about KPG or PG because no chance to be GT-R here I'm sure..). Looks like there are none.
  4. That was only on Trademe for a short time then gone.. so I imagine sold quickly.
  5. Yeah it's a shame that one has RB in it but what can you do. The dude loves it either way. Was that sedan 110 that was for sale recently yours? Was dark grey etc
  6. In europe you can get LHD versions of C10 as well, I did not know that until a couple years ago
  7. Yeah fuckin Rubbin, he showed me the RB powered C110 owned by some old dude but he said another as well.. but it's Rubbin he could be talking shit like usual
  8. I know of one now in Welly (unsure if coupe or sedan) but my friend said he tried to buy it and the owner refused any price. C110s are more common here, usually the 240k variant, you have some right Kyteler?
  9. Yeah, usually from rust problems but that's how the GT-R came so also common to emulate that style. I've now been in touch with Aaron so that's cool, I've heard there could be a third around, anyone know ?
  10. For now just get it going and do rust removal. Future I'd love triples and L28 for sure. Also would like to put it back to red, that colour is really nice and a bit different from most of the silver ones you see around. Nah got the goods from Ewan should be sweet Aaron's one looks really nice, I see the rear guard is cut, rust problems there for his one or more style?
  11. Oh shit was stolen, I remember it being strangely cheap and almost bid but was super sceptical.. for good reason. At least he got it in the end.
  12. Thanks all, yes if anyone knows of more or has contact of some in NZ that would be excellent for parts and general networking. I saw one for sale in average/poor condition on Trademe some years ago.. I suspect that is the one you guys are talking about?
  13. So I've been looking for a hako for about 4 years now, keeping an eye on the prices and how quickly they seem to be appreciating in price as the world notices them (thanks RM Sotheby's) and with some hard saving I've been able to finally make a purchase. The car is a 1971 2000GT with L20 engine and 5 speed. Unknown ks, bit of rust around the place (wouldn't be one without it) but overall a fairly solid start. I purchased this from Restored.jp who some may be familiar with, they make aftermarket FRP and carbon parts for old cars like that Hako. This was the owners personal car.. whether that's good or not is yet to be known but it's a nice story anyway. I'd be interested to have contact with other owners of Hakos in NZ as it would be handy for parts and general networking. I'll be working on this in stages (as I'm now broke) to get this up to road legal spec.. More to come but I've already figured a couple things I need to do before it's even here ! I understand there are several in NZ already, any coupes or road legal ones? Discuss: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/49704-mlracings-hakosuka/
  14. Don't suppose anyone in NZ can do 19" outer lips?
  15. Sorry, thread hijack. Is there anyone in NZ that does 19" outer lips? Wheels in question are Weds Kranze Bazreiea
  16. Woah sweet, I was just talking to my mate about how sweet it would be to have meets like they do in USA/AUS etc with all the old Jap cars ;o Prayers answered.
