  2. bummer, the brumby failed on one ball joint not bad seeing as its had no wof for 3 years and all i did was get it running and try woffing it question is am i aloud to drive it to 'place of repair' (aka work) or will it need to be towed/trailered
  3. ah makes sense now so did anybody buy any Viagra? haha
  4. anybody whos handy with a welder should be able to do it id offer but im only burning with a tig at the moment and cant be arsed ha but yeah its not a hard job
  5. you need to get in touch with 'big CC' in the uk they do all the turbo stuff and have built turbo busa's over 800rwhp! so im pretty sure one of there clutches would suit you perfectly, and maybe gearbox if you got the cash (there also working on a 1000cfm supercharger kit which would make some interesting results in you starlet ) [edit] http://www.bigccracing.com
  6. so ermm..... whens the turbo going on
  7. my thoughts exactly can i ask, is that you in your signature pic? either way it looks so much like my dad in in his late 20's, if i didn't know better i could be convinced it was
  8. hmm might try my luck with just the muffler then
  9. fuck its too early to be at work... and too much of a sunday nah its not a fart cannon, its one of those tripple flow things that look like an OEM muffler from magoos. had one on my gtir with 2 big reso's and the turbo to baffle it abit, and it was quiet as fuck damn turbo was louder i just want to see what people are running on theres to get past cert
  10. how many resonators you reks im gona need to make its nice and hush for the cert man got one 2 1/4'' rage muffler (tripple flow thing) all 2 1/4 mandrel bent pipe i was thinking just one longish one like 60cm long might be enough?? i just dont want to have to cut shit up again if it fails but i also dont want it to be too quiet and pussyfied anybody got any experience with rage boxes (im sure alot of you do)
  11. i think i should be alright im asuming they dont measure the noise under load, which is when the carbs start to get angry
  12. don't own a mini but i sure wish i did you wanna throw some pictures up? had a mate in the uk who had the most awesome mini ever over bored to 1320cc custom cam and rockers, twin webbers, 1 3/4'' exhaust to twin coby mufflers, super low and stiff suspension (duno what it was but wasnt comfortable atall) and straight cut box (whiny as hell) custom leather interior with old school bucket seats for really skinny people funkin luved it! 111hp of mini maddness
  13. right sorry to change the subject from plates just a little concern of mine regarding car noise levels im making sure my exhaust will be nice and muffed ..buuuut does the induction noise get measured, as 4 R1 carbs on foam filters makes a fairly satanic noise
  14. dave petigrew, on hands road hes into his older stuff and will put in mean efforts if you want him to he usualy busy too so make sure you speak to him well in advance
  15. adjustable top hats or ball joints, its about the only way that i know of best to get it checked out first to see how much angle you have oh and sweet on the bumpers where abouts are they?
  16. second thought... lots of holes as apposed to slots can see that being safe enough and no i cant be arsed making adjustable top hats
  17. ok could do with some advice going to convert the lower arms to take the bolt on starion ball joints do you guys think it will be safe/certable to have the plate im welding on slotted to make the camber slightly adjustable? if its a complete dumbass idea (i think it might be) where should i position the new joint its got cobra supalows and the struts them self have had about 20mm chopped off just want a decent camber without going silly or not having enough
  18. little up date... polished the FUCK out of my 50 over pistons for some pointless blingage (note previous melted valve damage to squish band) got a flywheel which is going off to be lightened the fuck up cleaned out and tested my rather epically huge oil cooler (RX7 FTW!) possible have some super lumpy re-grinds on there way??? looking at the head with die grinder in hand (have yet to add effort into the equation) ...also starting to get horny thinking about the 2-stroke inspired power band (1500rpm idle and cruise at 7000rpm? ) this was the best looking bearing out of the lot
  19. grab 4 honda cr250 carbs FSC no butterflys and there huaowge also run methanol and weld up your valves and cut ports in your barrels and fit big expansion pipes or just buy 2 kawasaki 750 tripple engines and weld them together and have a 2 stroke V6 and own the road/make me cum on you car.....
  20. wont stop the cornering issue though you just need some bike carbs
  21. thats what that little box of tricks does, throttle cable goes in one end and 2 come out the other
  22. from memory the piagio ones were 18gbp so in nzd would be about the same as the big metal one on TM but the paigio ones are only lil plastic things come to think of it, might not be able to take 'enthusiastic' driving
  23. ok made a phone call turns out you cunts don't have many Italian 2 stroke moped over here... gutted. so i had a scavenge on trade me and found something that could look rather pimp with a polish http://www.trademe.co.nz/Antiques-colle ... 594449.htm
  24. mopeds.... most 2 stroke scooters have a splitter the same as that to divide between the carb and oil pump and cheap as too ill see if i can scavenge one
