  1. any progress on this beast? i need something like this, no where for it but thats not the point
  2. this is a dirty F100, i live in dunedin but just bought it from chch and wanted to take it for a wof to see what it needed, after i fixed a couple wires for the rear lights it got a wof no troubles. defiantly keen to bring it back up for muscle car madness
  3. All done, wof and reg can come off hold when im up next. Time to head back to dunedin now
  4. Cheers for the replys, ive got it out the back of a mates on outskirts of goon, bought it as not running, but turns out you need to put fuel in the tank, i hooked some fuel into and drove it away. Just going to go over the lights etc today
  5. Hey dudes i just got back in the oldschool game, came up from dunedin today and got a F100, any sugestions of somewhere i can take it for a wof check tomorrow?
  6. hey dudes, just wondering if anyone in nelson has got the time to have a look at a ford courier for me, unfortunately its not oldschool but that could make it easier? i have had pics from the owner etc but just want someone to take it for a drive and confirm the faults i can see. looking at riding up from dunedin to get it if all is good and could throw a box your way for your troubles etc. let me know if anyones interested. cheers
  7. sounds like an awesome trip, have been thinking something similar myself for next year but theres too many things to do and not enough time
  8. whats up dudes, looking at getting my daily wof'd & reg'd so i can sell it on. took it through for a wof check and it needs a tyre and apparently a exhaust leak halfway down, so anyone out there with a mig or oxy set to borrow for 10mins to throw some metal at the exhaust system, not much chance getting it done at work unless i remove most of the system which will be my next option. let me know if anyone keen. cheers
  9. got some new tyres, fitted to the rims but need to get them blasted onto the bead, might get this done tomorrow, also need to replace clamps on the turbos, but they need to be pulled apart for this and i cant really be fucked doing that, so lowered the front instead, will either need keeper springs and leave at this height (lowest it can go) or get the weld in kit moved down more so it can go lower again.
  10. gotta drive nana spec when its the first day of wof, was sitting at certed height for wof aswell. but 2nd day of wof means i have to get some new tyres, and it didnt happen on the street, was private property. i want a house with a skid pad haha
  11. haha, was it going up the motorway? yeah was in town to get a wof and reg, shes all legal now. no pics to prove it only what zeb got to prove it was in dunners haha. not much reason to keep it locked in the garage now might even venture to the hanmer meet
  12. cheers for that man, but... i may have it sorted now, got a good chap at repco that didnt mind grabbing all the options they had off the shelf and i just got a couple different ones, wont know if it works untill its all sealed up and taken for a thrash, will see if i cook it or not
  13. got some part numbers that might be a close fit, suposed to be a 2stage thermostat but even if the 1st stage isnt working will just mean it takes longer to get up to temp, going to burn off to dunedin to pick them up
  14. i dont have rego or chassis number for this engine as its fitted to a different car, have looked through tridon parts finder, its saying ive got the right one but is just to short and not wide enough
  15. i dont find toyota to be any help at any time i have rung them, even going into the parts dept with the car. maybe i just got the people that love their job and enjoy helping people
  16. yo champs, who knows the part number for a 1ggte thermostat? i was a given a tridon - tt214-192 and its no where near close, dosnt fit in the housing properly its not wide enough and not long enough.
  17. ah well fuck me, didnt even think about that as wasnt planning on going.
  18. 13th april? only saying that as its my only weekend off that month, and no one else has suggestions up yet haha
  19. seen some parts on yahoo.jp that i wanted but get paid fortnightly now and could afford, so more like no money no problems haha
  20. need to change tyre profiles, rear suspension can go way lower, but guards/wheels wont allow much, front suspension needs keeper springs to go lower, doubt id find a wof man to wof it as is, dont know anywhere to go in otago
  21. yeah it was, no one fronted up with cash / wanted a really quick sale too close to xmas etc, all good though, new job,new house, own garage and dont need the cash anymore so no problems
  22. haha yeah your not wrong there, yeah ill keep it for now untill i cant be fucked working on it
  23. no sir, have moved south, time for a change / opportunity too good to pass up arisen. was sick of fixing all your dodgey repairs (just kidding) haha.
  24. just over a week later the gearbox and clutch are out, also removed the 9's off the rear and tried them on the front, i think they might stay there if i can find some 10's or something for the rear
