  1. Have the motor completely stripped and ready for the rebuild. Block rebored to 1mm oversize and gave the head a birthday, new pistons also finally sourced from Austrailia. Now all this is kick ass however i do have one tiny problem. When removing the conrod caps one of the bolts was siezed. Resulting in....... Therefore im looking for another bolt this size. Going to Blacks Fasteners is an option to get another one the same size however due to the placement and stress put upon this bolt I am looking for the genuine article. 12mm 6pt bolt head with a 'T' for Toyota stamped on the top 9x1 Overall is 43mm long It has varied thicknesses down the shank top thickness is 10.5mm and second thickness is 10.2mm If anyone has an M series motor for spare parts and has one of these can they please contact me either on here or directly on 0273141755 Thanks
  2. Have a carb however certain parts that control the choke are not there, will look into that
  3. Brakes are still away getting honed, resleeved and rekitted. Have been searching around on ebay for some gear, still very hard to find carb. But new carpet looks promising.
  4. Its in pretty good nick, hasnt had a WOF since 1999, but managed to get her running on Sunday. Not alot of rust had been kept in a shed for a long time apparently. Going to focus on getting the brakes fixed this week and hopefully take it for a drive this w.e
  5. Hi new to website, had a Datsun a few years back but plans didnt go ahead, but now ive just purchased a 1974 MS75 Toyota Crown Coupe Deluxe. Have been looking for one for ages and one finally popped up, yes it is the brown one on trademe from Rakia. In the process of getting it running at the moment. Need a new or reconditioned fuel pump and carburetor. Does anyone have anything lying around for an old 4M? Also any information or other websites that could give me some more background on these vehicles would be great, have looked around but since these are quite uncommon the amount of knowledge about them is hard to come by. Are there any wreckers of 60-70 series crowns in the Canterbury region, know of the guy in Leeston, have been to see him for a couple parts but could not find everything. Also do any parts switch across from any other Toyota models? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks discussion; viewtopic.php?f=18&t=31665
