Hypothetically, if I made the bad life decision that was buying a 390ci ford, would it be worthwhile converting to bbq gas?
What does a conversion cost?
How much cheaper might I expect it to be to run?
Been looking at Galaxie Squires, but just the thought of an even bigger engine than the 302 in my mustang really hurts my wallet.
Dont forget to skim the heads and advance the timing to make use of that octane bump

54 will be a 4 speed where as the 55 will be a 5 speed and have different ratios.
Bellhousings should be interchangeable too

Or just a remote filler for one with a built in res?

The dash sounds like something @h4nd would know the ins and outs of

I like how Rambo can hop on a 4t bike and use his big dick energy to convert it to 2t with no mechanical work

Finally found the problem with the PW80
Wasnt crank seals or reeds but the china mikuni was doing mischief it seems. New aliexpress carb and a reputable jet kit has it zinging along again

Nah exhaust is squeaky clean. Just gave it a burn out. Doing stator side crank seal and carb kit then hoping for the best

-
Could well be. Il pop the stator off and have a look behind it. Its not blowing excess smoke when it does run so would guess the gearbox side is still happy and sealing
-
Float seems fine not too low or flooding fuel everywhere. Carb goes straight into alloy Intake with a rubber grommets that's in good nick so can't see it having a leak there
-
PW80 refuses to idle or run without the choke on?
Carb settings are all factory, needle middle clip air screw 1.5 turns out all jets and passages are squeaky clean air filter clean and freshly oiled. Will blip into life after kicking it over but die out if you let it idle and instantly die if with any hint of throttle.
Got me stumped

TF125s sometimes have their vin number already in the system which will make getting them on the road easier. You can carjam the vin number thats riveted to the frame under the pannier to see if it is.
-
Yeah I was expecting that/want to get it hot to really bake the paint on
-
I wanna give my fireplace a tart up, im guessing the current coating is baked on enamel or powder coating? Whats the best way prep it before repainting with Hi temp enamel? Its only the outside panels not the firebox itself so getting hot but not direct heat hot

Getting the century rims machined to fit should be an easy and cheap job. Its a common mod with fitting newer commy rims to older commodores so ask around local mag wheel places

I look forward to progress on this
