  5. yeha thanks guys not too sure about colour as of yet might need some photoshops done
  6. what iv done is i have used carburetted fuel hose from the tank to the low pressure facet fuel pump and from the surge tank to the bocsh fuel pump and from the bocsh fuel pump i have used efi fuel hose to the engine and for the return to the surge tank then carburetted fuel hose from the surge tank overflow to the petrol tank Lol Sorted
  7. yep it was in NZPC the guy had the adaptor plate made for the 3y engine that was in there and lucky the bellhousing / gearbox end is the same for 1ggte so the adaptor plate worked as for driveline no plans of upgrading anything as have been told by a mahindra/willys jeep restorer in india that the gearbox is very strong and will not break but i will be making the rear dana 44 diff fully floating like the front and then i will have a bullet proof driveline
  8. Oh ok Yeah thanks guys im going to push boost up to about 16psi and then single turbo conversion just need to find a cheap welder person that will be ale to do it for a bit of cash as a couple of boxes of piss
  9. It really does move with the new engine pushes me back into the seat will be putting boost up to 16psi for a quick run down the road (stock 12psi gen 3) but the small turbos cant really handle more then 16psi or eles they blow then maybe look at a single turbo conversion depends really
  10. START UP VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSxEQF4DkwM Sorry about the video & audio quality but did it with my smart phone 2mp so cant really expect much lol That run was without the radiator & instead to the intercooler we just hocked up the in and out of the engine with some thick pipe other wise it wouldn't start because it is factory intercooler & no exhuast we got the fuel lines all done went to repco to get about 10m of fuel line and for the efi fuel pipe they said $50 PER METRE that would come to about $500 asked if they had anything cheaper and just got normal fuel pipe not efi but he said it should hold very good, and $280 for new lead set decided not to get that as of yet and to shop around, facet fuel pump was $175, 4-7psi & 132litres/hour I love the sound of the turbos winding up when accelerating and turbo compressor surge when you decelerate seems like i might need a b.o.v cause the engine being generation 3 it runs 12psi boost
  11. Intercooler Mocked Up Engine Shot Surge Tank Mock up Not yet ready to run hopefully this weekend all lines will be hooked up and radiator mounted to front grill
  12. 16. Had another problem, the clutch i got my 1g-gte flywheel was too big for my mahindra gearbox input shaft, tryed to use the old mahindra flywheel but wouldnt fit inside the 1g-gte pressure plate, then tryed to used the mahindra/3y pressure plate and clutch on the 1g-gte flywheel but the pressureplate bolts were differant So Thats Were I had to spend some money for a new clutch plate that was smaller than 9" and would fit my gearbox input shaft, tryed just jeeps in auckland they had a brand new 8.5" clutch plate for a willys jeep ordered that overnight yesterday got it this morning and it fits Here A Picture Of my New Clutch Plate (Pretty Expensive Too ) My New 8.5" Clutch Plate New One Compared With My Old One
  17. Well just wanted to see how it would fit and what would need modifying to fit the 1G-GTE engine into the mahindra Here are some pics The Engine Still Need to go back more as the flywheel has just reached the front of the bellhousing so hasn't gone in yet Also Bloody Good Thing about working with a jeep is that the side front guards bolt off to revel the chassis frame no gay engine bay side chassis like cars do haha A little bit of the firewall will need to be cut & the battery box either removed or cut to fit the engine After I have Modified The Bits to fit the engine into the jeep, ( not including mounts ) next will be fit of new accelerator pedal box, new clutch pedal box, new brake pedal box along with new brake booster
  18. these are a few pictures that motavate me, not trying to make the same jeep but sort of the style, like wide rims/tyres lowered a bit but mine will have a mad paint job what do you guys think ?
  19. Empty Engine Bay Out With The Old 3Y The Supra Bellhousing Fits The Mahindra Gearbox, Luckly There was a mahindra to W56 gearbox adaptor plate made by the previous owner, was just a mater of taking it off the old 3y bellhousing and bolting it onto the 1G-GTE bellhousing Random Shot
  20. i got these rims at the moment but they gay cause they are only 7" wide with 215 tyre i want wider i got them cause they are beter than looking at the old solid steel rims the old standerd rims i painted white hehe
  21. just trying to find some nicer rims, dont really mind if they are like 15 or 16 4x4 rims as long as there are wide enough for me, and have a good offset and dish so that the rims sticks out like 50-100mm out of the gaurds and but some nice wide road tyres on them and i was thinking lowering blocks ?
  22. Hey guys just got my bellhousing today along with another clutch, flywheel, pressure plate but this clutch is a heavy duty also thrust bearing, clucth fork, slave cylinder and all the bolts Its starting to come together lol parts i mean

  25. getting a 1G-GTE TWIN TURBO engine , out of a supra, 210 hp with 11psi of boost i think, can handle up to 15psi on stock turbos, bout 20psi on stock internals with a big single turbo conversion which i am thinking about
