Chuffed how it came out. It's not a show car paint job by any means but it's what I wanted. Still has some dents and dings as I wasn't paying for a full panel job haha. Needs lowering ASAP, have a spare set of leaves I need to do reset.

Whats the welding you guys were doing to front of tray? Just repairs or something more drastic (shortening?)
The front edge and bottom of front panel was all rusted out. So got a new bottom rail and front panel made up and that's what got welded in

Impressive that you got the flat deck off with 3 people. Those things are heavy af
It was actually only 2 of us and the third guiding the fuel filler out of the way. But yes, it was heavy haha

Do you need the factory fuel filler neck?
Despite my original doubts, the one from the flat deck fitted straight up. Too easy!

What a day. Massive thanks to @Geophy for his skills. So good being able to see out the wing mirrors instead of staring at the front of the flatdeck...

Did ~800km over Waitangi weekend with @Geophy to represent commercial corner at Wagnats. Other than some underwhelming headlights and wipers making late night driving through torrential rain and gale winds rather difficult, it went without a hitch. Nabbed best non-wag, such an esteemed honour.

Had a measure of my 14x6.5 Volk Mesh racing. Has two IDs; Inside (where centre mounts) is around 320mm, the larger ID towards the wheel edge is around 350mm.

Here are a couple of examples https://gtwheels.com.au/collections/14-lips-barrels
I've got a wheel off on the bench at home (volk racing mesh, 14") so I can measure tonight as well.

What do the plugs look like when they stop working? It's not something silly like they are foulling up with oil?

This year's Christmas builds. One for my folks and one for the in-laws beach house. Excuse the mess...

Woah, that was ages ago. The fine stead is still going strong. Can't remember what's happened but I've done around 4,500km since the Lifan swap. New carb day today, a Nibbi which is a brand I came across while down in Christchurch for Syd's Run. Fair few people were running them so I figured it was worth a shot. Looks the part and after initial testing it is significantly smoother everywhere. I'm calling that a win.
Photo doesn't really show it but the carb is a matt black finish with nice anodised bits. Looks very sharp.

Drill and tap a new fitting for the return line into the tank/wherever, and then reinstate the original vent system?

In our work EV's, difference between eco and sport mode (other than fwd burnouts) is about 20km across 400km range.

Yeh I'm a no go sorry. Logistics aren't panning out; I'm in the wrong island most of the week.

Can confirm it should be yellow off the stator (looking at wiring diagram).

Progress! Bit the bullet and pulled the windscreen (cracked and rust around the outside). Pretty crusty and a couple of pin holes but should come up OK with a good wire wheel and some welding.
