  1. Attached is for the overall series... I've also put int he overall differences to other OS'ers for the series fiat results.pdf
  2. Brent - Told you did well! you have to be happy with that for your first time there! Wouldn't have taken much to beat me... As you can see by the results, its getting close for some spots. I think after Hampton Brent's going to close A LOT on my points total and the little battle between the escorts and the Uno could get very interesting also depending on how the Uno goes at the track... I didn't think the Uno looked all that Unoy tho at the hillclimb... I'm super stoked with my time, it's a new personal best for me by .26 of a second! Round 3 Results: DRTDVL - Heath - Peugeot 205GTI - 100 Archtype - Brent - Mazda RX-7 - 98.85 Mark105 - Mark - Fiat Uno - 86.7 (didn't think you where in the uno???) M_C - Max - Ford Escort - 85.74 Shaneo - Shane - Ford Escort - 85.56 Japawagons - Keegan - Fiat Uno - 0 Truenotch - Mark - Toyota Corolla - 0 OS Championship (combined): DRTDVL - Heath - Peugeot 205GTI - 293.1 Archtype - Brent - Mazda RX-7 - 281.53 Mark105 - Mark - Fiat Uno - 270.47 Shaneo - Shane - Ford Escort - 263.94 M_C - Max - Ford Escort - 257.66 Japawagons - Keegan - Fiat Uno - 193.31 XSSPEED - Steven - Toyota Corolla - 96.21 Truenotch - Markuu - Toyota Corolla - 84.19
  3. Haven't seen any results yet... i suspect we might get them tonight. I love that road... it's a shame the video doesn't really show how hard i was pushing it - i really hope that last run (run 3) was in the 56's...
  4. Run 1 - 0:58.93: http://youtu.be/pwtPpQ42IJo Run 3 - 0:56.59: http://youtu.be/0hGlBbxg2SQ
  5. Steve - tyres worked awesome! Brad - thanks for stepping up and marshaling we couldn't have run today without your help! I forgot to get you a beer. Waiting for the results for the day but it was much better than last year. Got the videos all ready to upload just waiting for results.
  6. My dunlop semi's have about 2-3mm of tread and they have been fine when damp / light rain... If it's really going to be wet i've typically run my road tyres with the same level of tread. It's a chip seal road so it's fairly coarse. Biggest issue with semi's is getting heat into them as the run is very short compared to the track stuff. I've never had any issues with tread levels with my semi's even when they where down to 1mmish of tread.
  7. Looks like possibility for rain in the morning with overcasts predicted all day... XSSPEED's lending me some decent rubber for the event so that should help... Just need to lower the rear of the car a little and give it a wash... everyone else all set for this?
  8. Anyone feel like bringing a bonnet from Hamilton to the race so i can put it into Max's van to bring to Auckland?
  9. My first run there ever was a 1:05, I think I broke into the high 59's once that day. My quickest ever was my third time there with a 56... It took 3 events before I was really comfortable there! Just remember you have driven quick on public roads before, this is no different except you legally can go over 100kph and use both lanes... Just go as fast as your comfortable.
  10. You and Dayne are in the same spot... Maybe look at a deal for 2 cages with someone??? You should come down and watch...
  11. Helmet, overalls, firecan - Motorsport lic and club affiliation if you have done more than two msnz events previously. Ohhh msnz homologated rollcage for opentop cars
  12. Depends if you want to drive fast and sideways or fun a sideways... If you want to be all 70's rally awesome then ya you will risk going off... If you want to have fun you will just spin and stop. The max speed will be 140ish coming into the hairpin at te bottom, most of the time it's all sub 90 at the bottom an sub 120 at the top where it opens up. It's the old case of road vs track + run offs. I remember a old rally guy telling me drifting is just rally for the cottonwool generation... Come prove him wrong!!!! ps... Targa camera did that road in 50 seconds... Mike tubbs in his e36 targa car was airborne and sideways often last year...
  13. I'd watch the video a bunch and get a good idea of the corners. There are two that look the same - 1 you go flat through, 1 you lift a little...
  14. I can't wait! Road for those that don't know -
  15. Just got a new Go-Pro 3: Silver Edition from my GF and family... whoop whooop bring on the hillclimb!
  16. Got my firecans sorted with some amature engineering! no more rolling around with shitty clamps... Put the softer ARB in. Now to try and reset the ride heights in the front and lower the rear a little to make it less tail happy...
  17. I asked about if we need to go and the Facebook site said its all good we can get it done on the Sunday before the race.
  18. They posted up the results for the Fiat Series as the Hamilton Car Club and the Fiat guys do a lot of each others events... Sister clubs if you like, they both run out of the Hamilton Car Club clubrooms also.
  19. Dump some old shipping containers in the yard for lockup car storage...
  20. micro SD and holder to standard SD - will be fine... i'll need it for a day or two...
  21. I can have a go at it... i recover all the lost data at work...
