lol different folks different strokes.. dusting on metallics causes the aluminium particles (what makes a metallic, metallic ) to stand up as opposed to lying flat which can cause the color to come out light, and possibly mottled (especially with coarse silvers) edit: just my opinion, everyone has they're own technique and style

lol see what happens if u dust on metallic. gonna have some funky lookin colors and transperant paint. metallics basecoat still needs to go on wet. as long as u dont drown the panel and its even
