  1. thanks guys ive got some brass ones the reason i didnt just measure the holes is i didnt have the block it was getting work done on it and i just wanted to get all the partd to rebuild the block. cheers

  5. no thats where i think i went wrong i have 2 cranks and got the mixed up.hahahah
  6. yeh i put them in the groves the crank turned over by itself but when i put the pistons in and done the big ends up it wouldnt turn i tryed it with the old bearing shells and it was sweet.
  7. hi all i after the settings for the crank main berings and rod big end aswell my computer has shit itself and im in a internet cafe so if any one can text me them that would be shit hot dan=021 2140427 allso with new rod bigend shells i tryed to tighten them a little and the crank would not turn at all is there a reason for this or should it be that hard to turn(cant turn at all)to start of with the shells look a wee bit thick to me. thanks and if someone can text them to me .cheers
  8. they were the valves i was after as they would be best for the motor] im buyilding but will start to look at other types a bit more. as for turbos im useing a t3/t4 ptrim same one i had on a mazda familia i built i got 331 hp out of a fwd hahahahaha ill just keep looking
  9. yeh 8 valves oesnt weigh much and they wanted 40 punds for shipping

  13. true i didnt thnk of them i got a price from burton power in the uk gp1 single groove valves and keepers with postage in 196 pounds will have to save a bit more hahah
  14. they are a lot better then the tripple grooved ones the triple ones are good for 6700rpm (dont get me wrong thats good) but they have a fail if used at that range alot and to sort that proplem is to fit single grove ones i am build ing a custom turbo set up and motor and i want to build it ones and do it right so thats why im after these ones
  15. the gp1 are the prefect for waht i want i am still trying to find some single groved ones will let you know how i get on.

  21. ill just hang out for a bit longer mate my brother has a rebuild 2lt bottom end lightined and balanced with new pistons and rods that i may be able to get for fuk all if hes still hard up for cash hahahaha but ill let you know cheers dan

  23. hi mate the only thing i have to maesure with at the moment is a tape measure (not very good i know) untill the weekend but the tape measure its 91mm
  24. yes mate im very intrested in buying them i just dont know what size i will need its a stander block and the bore is sweet what size pistons would you recomend i just want to keep it standerd my number is 021 2140427 and its dan if you want to text me about it but yeh man i want to buy them now cheers I dont think I can get standard size pistons and they dont make 10tho over. Id go at least 40tho overs. 60tho would be safer. Can still run 60tho over with standard everything else. would i have to get the block bored out for 60tho?
