I'm from Matamata, it is a nice town. Good car scene with everything from american muscle cars (matamata panelworks specialise in mustangs and have an open day every year) to rotaries and other old japanese cars. Locals are generally friendly, if slightly on the bogan side unless they own a horse stud. Relatively low crime rate, house prices aren't super cheap but ok, lots of money around town from horses and cows.

look under abrasive blasting in hamilton yellowpages mate, there's quite a few there including soda

removes paint etc. By the sounds of it, its not that flash tho. Dont really want to get my engine full of soda dust.

anybody tried it, heard any good/bad stories about it?? thinking of getting the ute underside and front end done
