Slowing coming together
New thermo housing, stant rad cap, RS2000 alternator bracket, later had to remove and throw cortina one on, RS2000 type won't work with lucas acr style, bracket fowls alternator.
Blue themeDays work, helps having basically everything on hand after planing swap for 8 years....

Ok the shop is finally ready to take van to carry out a few bits of welding and getting engine sitting in the bay, will update when I get it back, progress!

Upgrade to the 9" rear drums if you have 8s. You can buy new capri vented discs easy enough and add a spacer kit to the original callipers, or I have seen all new original style callipers made to suite vented discs from the likes of motorsport tools.

I see it has the powershift box, and reading comments sounds like its been replaced? Powershift requires servicing every 50-60km and I believe its quite a process to change the oil.
I've got an older petrol one and its been pretty good, cheap motoring really.
