  1. ahh thats makes sense no point in running a big intercooler unless youve got alot of boost, unless you like lag
  2. $1000 for an intercooler? evo 3 standard front mount or something like that would save you abit of money. wont look as nice tho i suppose edit: or be as big or efficient
  3. white can be a pain in the ass to keep clean are you doing all the panel/ engine work yourself? is primer waterproof? so if your car got wet atm would it get any surface rust?
  4. mean car i reckon mark 2's look better with flares that arent moulded to the body but with the rivets smoothed over if you know what i mean

  7. my mate is looking at buying this what do ya reckon? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... key=401105 so i thought id ask around and see if anybody knows -common places for them to rust -mechanical things to watch out for -anything else you can think of im not the biggest fan of these but i have to admit that it appears to be pretty mint
  8. turns out it was the engine earth, hooked that up properly and she fired up first go cheers for the help
  9. nope, ill have to check that on wednesday. that actually seems to be the most likely reason as everything was fine a few weeks ago and i may have disconnected it i havent touched the solinoid yet so it shouldnt be anything like that then it would start when i jumped it, wouldnt it? chur
  10. cheers guys i just read what i posted yesterday i cant believe i thought it was something other than the starter/ solinoid i spent like half an hour in the rain going over the dizzy being tired/hungover and working on cars doesnt mix
  11. i've had the battery out of the car for about 3 weeks while i got a new pan and mounts sorted, caused they rusted away, but now when i've put it back in the car wont even begin to crank over i can hear the pump in the tank ticking so thats not the problem but i cant hear the starter motor or the solinoid i tried to jump start the car incase the battery had lost charge but it didnt work ive heard before that if the solinoid dies the starter wont get any power will the starter be fucked or could it just be the solinoid? (or something else) is there any way to test it? the engines the original L26 which has just clicked over 90 thousand Any idea if its a common fault? thanks in advance
