Nah, it's a Hot Rod.
Have pics of the camper, but it's british so you won't want to see them.

Last day at work today!

OK, so have acquired most of the necessary bits once again. Just need to re-install the antenna on the Oxford. Got a new-in-box TX830N on TM.
I need to visit Jaycar and get a couple of plugs and some coax (or chop some off the antenna lead) to get the SWR meter in-line.

Didn't think you needed squirters for a wof? They have never checked mine at a bunch of testing stations.
They are a fail item - if they are fitted they need to work.

Have seen this before, but not for a while. 64 Mercury
Caddy was $14K, seemed cheap.

Hardly any wheels (of any sort). Some slightly interesting alloys but only in pairs. Lots of BMC steering wheels but nothing you'd like.
I got more out the VCC shed than the swap meet stalls.

I'll look out for spare Lucas generators for you Al.

This is tomorrow. I'll be there for a while hunting for rare BMC treasures.

Good work getting it certed before BH. It must be the busiest time of the year for LVVTA I reckon.
According to the entry guff, the popo are going to be hard on illegal cars again, so watch out if you can adjust the height while driving.

Welling traffic can eat a dick. 30 minutes from airport to CBD after 7pm at night is just silly.
Traffic was still pooched on the Hutt Motorway when I went bast the interchange about 7:30

Still in Hamilton. See you at beach hop/nats/next month as appropriate.
I did visit the rotorbug today and bought a couple of cb whips.

Sweet! You'll be even cooler (if poss) in a wagon.
BTW, do you still have a set of those wheels for sale?

Cert not required if
the OE gearbox cross-member has not been heated, cut, or welded; and
the OE gearbox cross-member mounting to the OE body or chassis members is unchanged; and
no replacement gearbox cross-member is used; and
the OE drive-shaft(s) remain and is un-modified; and
no substantial modifications have occurred to the floor or gearbox tunnel area, other than provision for gear-shift mechanism; and
the braking system is not modified or changed, including the brake pedal
Also, Cletus said
" the trap is, if you put a manual spec brake pedal, pedal box, or mod the brake pedal, then it needs cert "

There was some discussion about this a few pages back. It's pretty common to swap the brake pedal for one with a smaller pad = cert.
