You've been busy! Light at the end of the tunnel now I hope.
Rust free instead of free rust?

Can anyone buy from BnT? I thought they were a trade shop sort of thing
They sell to anyone.
Get a better price if you can spin a good trade-like yarn.

Blardy big spenders.

Spring, or those toothy things, or nylocks. Cert people are very keen on those. Also the 300mm clamps if you have run any new fuel lines.

Got those split/lock washers everywhere?

We finally demolished the port (mostly) and port wine cheddar that I bought in Nelson on the way to Hanmer last year. Was yum.

Three to join, there is a birth in the plan for that day though, so a slight level of uncertainty.
-
I got some Redline stuff from BNT in the end. Bottle is annoying/messy to use though. I still feel happier using something on long open road runs/towing.

Flatheads are cool though.
/slow too.

I pulled a front spring right before Nats to see if a Makita drop would work, but no-go. The lower spring pan is a bolt-on so could possibly be lowered that way, but I was out of time.
I've now removed the upper tailgate and glass (those little screws were holding the glass in place)
The tailgate is from the previous model, so this lock isn't needed on this car
It's a little rusty but way way better than the original one for the car.

Also OS Nats trip. I bought a roof rack from Seedy Al that didn't exactly fit either way, so I made it fit with a cut and shut.
Drove to work in the rain.
Made it to the top of the Rimukatas no worries.
Needed an oil topup (hadn't checked it for a while, oops)
Met a cousin.

Once this was up and running I wanted to use it for a bit before doing more work.

Wagon-camping @ Otaki Forks a couple of times.
Beach, back when swimming was a thing.

If budget is really zero then leave it where it is.
Cert for engine swap will be several hundred dollars at least, and it won't matter whether you have built your own engine mounts or not.
There's not much in the way of cheap RWD engine/gearbox setups around anymore, particularly smaller sizes.
You might be able to make a V6 fit (I've seen one in a Morris Minor Van). Straight six will be too big likely if it's a 4-cyl originally.
Best bet would be an original or original type.
My advice FWIW is it can be made road legal easily (i.e. Reg on hold, running, not too rusty) then maybe.
Otherwise look for something better/more common/less ugly.

I didn't look any closer than out the window of the car while taking the pic.
They are at BP Martinborough.

Crap!
BTW if you want to to save the rotor you could possibly run a mig weld on the inside of the race. Might drop out after that.
-
To be properly legal it would need LVVTA Cert.

Visited an actual car painter and got some 3M 50740 for the Oxford. Bloke said it's all they use in their shop. Seems to work well for me, messy, but I'm an amateur.

You'll likely still have to take the front end apart for NDT though.

Can't run spacers legally without cert.
