  1. Oh yea and my wheels arrived the other day, 15 x 9 centrelines So did a trial fit onto the wagon, sit out a bit dont they!! Guna stretch 195/50/15s onto them so should look nice, but guards may need some gentle massaging haha And heres one of the wheels on the rear as well, tis my favourite pic at the mo
  2. MEGA QUEENS BIRTHDAY UPDATE BOES!!!!!!!111!!! HARD BUMZ AS So been working ma arse off all week getting cars ready for chassis swap, picked up my parts coupe on thursday after work and took it up to my parents place in whangarei to store. Then at it again on friday night to make sure everything was sweet, mikuni jetted up from the tron to give a hand. Then up at 5:30 saturday morning, trailered both cars out west to a mates workshop, took a deep breath and so it began... coupe on trailer at home Up on the hoists to unbolt last little things, steering box and handbrake Coupe suspension flash as ow bits of wood holding suspension up Dirty standard suspension sussing everything out... Then back down to put hoist under body Ye sturdy ol work horse haha Anyway, back to it, and so the moment of truth arrives, coupe first... 1 down, 1 to go Quick markup to make line up easier Then to the wagon... Then Sheepers challenged me to a race, Oh its on muthafucka!!!! It was neck and neck till the very end Fukn useless cunts, back to work!! Coupe dropped onto standard chassis Then wagon lowered onto bagged chassis http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a56/Lo ... CN0070.jpg With a small adjust haha Then wrapped the coupe up and back to my house Then put the wagon on the trailer And a few pics of Naos ceda and Sheepers coupe Then back to my place to pull the wood out of the wagon haha Then spent the rest of the day putting engine in/drinking piss. Had a crack at fitting gearbox but was a cunt so called it a day. On Sunday Sexyminor and Davidian came round to give a hand and we got gearbox done, pedal box swapped, brakes reconnected and engine wiring done, and had a few cold ones n talked shit as usual. On Monday me and davidian got steering column bolted back in, finished pedal box, bled clutch, then went and got some more lines and fittings for the bags. Then sheepers came round in the arvo and helped me bleed the brakes so they all sorted now, and fired up the engine which was quite loud as exhaust exited straight out of block!! So yeah all in all a very successful weekend, Mad respect to Mikuni, Sheepers, Sexyminor and Davidian for taking time off from their projects to lend a hand, off the crane boes!!!!
  3. Fuk dont remember that ay, last thing I remember was vessel running out so resorting to swigs of ccs straight outa the bottle, then vague memories of spewing my ring outside a bit later..... good times
  4. Haha cheers man, um, got it transported up ay, was 320 all up and thats door to door which i was pretty stoked with. All my 60 series crowns have been mph ay, and yep its got power steer, so does the parts wagon. And yep believe me if i could save the parts wagon i would, it feels bad killing a MS63 but it is so riddled with rust etc it would take a lot to get that thing back on the road but hey, sometimes you have to sacrifice something to keep another alive, haha fuk im startn to sound like an emo, better go cut myself... haha
  5. Yea boe you know how we roll "hard bums stz" haha, fuk its guna be done ay, even if i have to take a week or two off work haha Yea mate, off the crane fo sho. Hurry up n get that starlet finished haha, will be aws to see that thing revving its nuts off, lub the sound of 4ages getn raped haha

  7. Just standard 2.6 straight six ohc mate, nothing special, could probly muster a skid or two tho haha Im in aucks mate, if i need a hand ill holla maate, cheers for the offer
  8. haha guess my explanation was a bit vague, and when you own 4, no wait 5 crowns it can get a bit confusing haha. The wagon came with a engine running on 5 cylinders and auto, I wanted to keep it auto but dont trust the autos from that era when towing etc. I am putting a new engine and box into the coupe so thought i may as well use that engne and box for the wagon. And to answer the other question, Ive changed directions with the coupe and want to make it into classic race car stylz so the airbags didnt really tie in with that. Me and sheepers measured up the chassis and they are identical so am guna attempt to put the wagon body onto the coupe chassis, so yes it will be bagged and on the road by the nats. The reason i pulled both engine and boxes out is to make the chassis swap as easy as possible
  9. Right so cracked into it after work last night, we ripped the trans and d shaft out of the wagon then dropped it off the axle stands and sheepers started on the rust in the roof. I proceeded to pull the front off the coupe and pull the engine out. fuk i took ages. Sheepers awesome patch/welding skills, top stuff Front off ready for engine removal... Crack up pic of the abuse the exhaust got when the coupe was on the road, restrictive yes Engine out at about quarter past forever, fukn tired today ha
  10. True, nz must've hogged all the chevette goodness then ay haha, fuk your mags will be superepicoffthecrane rusty by the time you get back cuunt

  15. Che bo, awesome. If your around queens birthday weekend come over could always do with another set of hands performing the body swap. Um havnt had the chance to drive it properly yet but at a guess it will be quite tankish haha
  16. Me n sheepers measured up both the wagon and coupe chassis tonight and checked them against the measurements in the manual and they are indeed identical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yea now begins the mission of unbolting everything and getting them both ready for the body swap, at this point Im hoping to do it queens birthday weekend, so hopefully all goes well....
  17. yea those roof racks are mackn, i reckon do panel now/scothbrite the paint so surface rust starts, will look secks
  18. haha yea those flares wernt bad for hung over/still drunk and am very surprised i didnt cut myself up with the big knife i was using/get all emo n shit. those flares were just extended off the existing guard lip so will still keep the lines from being ruined i reckon ay
  19. haha yea way off the crane!! um too much shit to do before nats so just guna satin black the roof/pillars etc for now, rest of paint is av/shit as but meh, 5 metre rule will apply to all haha, sussed some 15 x 9 centrelines off tm but also really digging the centres that it came on so will probly widen them too and then decide haha
  20. sweet il be down friday evening sum time. good times.
  21. Coupes for going up and down and shit ain't it Fuckin epic collection, get em all on the street for a pic Haha yea will do, na thats why im doing the body swap, so i have have the bags in the wagon stz
  22. Yea ive got a toyota manual that has all the measurements of the 60 series chassis and theyre all the same, sedan wagon and coupe, only differant one is the ute because it is leaf sprung
  23. Yea just got to do a final measure up but im 99% sure they have exactly the same chassis haha. and yea the roofracks are off the crane!!!
  24. Discussion Thread: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/21629-locedas-ms63-crown-wagon/?hl=%2Bcrown+%2Bwagon So thought it was about time I posted this up. So yea it sat on trademe for way to long for me to resist purchasing it but hey. Got it transported up and it turned out quite a bit rougher than i was expecting but you get that when buying without viewing. It so happens that I knew of another wagon that a friend had sitting in his garage gathering dust so I purchased that too, hoping to combine for 1 phat ride bo3. So plans are as follows... Fix rust in boot, roof, A pillar, sills, guard Paint roof etc matty B and re fit roof racks Remove engine and trans Swap interior with parts wagon as it is awesome black vinyl Measure up both wagon and coupe chassis points for compatiblility Lift body off both chassis and swap Get airbags up and working in wagon Install engine driven compressor for bags Install coupe engine and trans Widen 14s and stretch some toite rubber onto them And this WILL be done by nats, no ifs buts or maybes as it will be trailering mikunis wagon down for epic convoyness. Pics of progress so far... Parts wagon out on road, lasted four days before council tried to tow it away as an abondoned vehicle. FUCK OFF!! Poor old coupes looking a bit snowed under, not for long How she looked when she arrived Hunting out rust etc Mikuni doing extremely technical measurements for wheel sizing etc Ripped the engine out on saturday, trans to follow Roof racks off for rust work, boot rust all sorted now thanks to sheepers gape Raped and pillaged So yea, I know i have my work cut out for me but I reckon it s doable. Will keep you all posted haha
  25. Yea so its been fukn ages since ive posted anything on the poor old girl. Basicly I had about three panelbeaters agree to do the work, so id wait for them to ring me to bring it in and they'd fukn flag on me, which got to me in the end so ive decided to flag shiney show car panel n paint and as of late have decided to take a completely differant tack and turn it into a sorta classic/mildly boso race car. My plans are wide as fuk 15s, tight suspension (which includes ditching the air bags etc but dont worry they are going to good use) and throwing a 2JZGE and W55 combo in and hopefully running some ITBs a bit later down the track. As for the panel I think ill just cut n patch the rust then paint it a satin colour and leave it at that for the mo. Fuk, life story. Anyway heres some pics of test fitting some 15 x 10s off a camaro, stick out a little bit too far but with the meke cardboard flare look pretty epic i think More progress soon hopefully. ha
