Yeh a few xr’s have been on my watchlist in the past, but as lame as it sounds I really want some under seat storage - it’ll be a day to day use as a commuter, and something that’ll be able to do the odd few hour trip here n there. sitting on 80km ringing the 50cc isn’t pleasant and i’d love to do the odd adventure. 

One bike / scoot to do it all / all that I need it to do.

I was gonna reach out to @Mop Head about seeing if he wanted help with video or pics of the event, but realised its anniversary weekend & I'm up in Auckland.

Why don't NZ honda (or other NZ bike distributors) bring in the wave / wave equivalent models? Is it just demand? 

I'm gonna be after something this year to replace my kymco twist n go.  Would love a 'manual' scooter.  I guess NBC is the go to?

How's the car going?

Echoing other comments here about how cool and rare/unique this is.  Love little oddball cars like this, and the back story with that picture / brochure is friggin awesome.

Wow - next level 323!!!

Only seen the odd insta vid of it, no decent pics etc.  Did wonder what was powering it though, sounded next level.

But in saying that - entering a car in an 'event' like the show n shine at nats is still a good time, there'll be people there to yarn to, and other cars to go perve at.

There are way better run events around now.

I think it died when other events started popping up.

Summerdrags spawned to cater for the rotaries - ReUnion and now Impulsive, plus summerdrags happening again means there's 3 rotary only events.

Plus all the various forms of coffee / car meet ups monthly.  

Then Chrome, various other club / nissan / mitsi / toyota only days means you're almost spoilt for choice if you have a car that previously only the Nats catered for.

Nice seven!  Early 20's me at that 2004 nationals thought it was freckin bad ass, 13b turbo and purple!!!
