True, if it is a new car and no bog or panel work is needed then all you have to do is scotchbright the clearcoat back and then paint. no primmer needed. but if you have crazy cracks, dents or bog patches then forget that idea and the hard way comes into play.

Just check the width before you do any of that. If they are to wide for the hoels then theres no bracket in the world that can make them fit. I know some of the searts from repco are real wide. Im selling some buckets at the mo if your interested?

Yeah imitation tial i have heard some shit about. But i have had experiance with a fake gready one and a fake HKS one. One from trademe and the other for a performance shop in hams. Youll know if its fake mainly from the price. Just go tial and a expect to pay around $400+ mark.

All I have to say is watch out for imiations. Make sure you buy the real deal as the fake ones DONOT hold boost. Which as read above is their job.

nope its got its own pipe. And i think he means an external wastie. You run one when you are either running lots of boost and the standard wastegate isnt holding boost anymore. Or when you upgrade to a turbo with no internal gate.(usually bigg huffer) If you are going to run one for sound value get a 36 tiel

The only original guage that is no good for a newer engine could be the rev counter. Some older ones dont go to 8. Some new engines need to goto 8. And in some cases the speedo. But then 100 is the speed limit....
