Yeah. he got his free, its a company car They are 1.3 and 1.6, just like eskies. the only reason i was keen to do it to this engine is because its based on the kent. as far as ive read its still 8v and its still a pushrod

He was telling me that its based on the kent engine so im wondering, does anyone know much about this engine? would be very keen on obtaining one for escort use its fuel injected. which makes for easier turboing.. would be cool to strap one into a eskie

Well the wagon is no more! Its got some pretty bad rust under the chasis. and the floor would need to be replaced for a warrant. and the guy before me changed the seats to Cortina Ghia seats and they would need to be certed. so ive decided to sell it to a wrecker! he might do me a trade on a nice little datto coupe. possibly a 140/160j!!! heres hoping

Turbo carb setups can either be draw through or suck through (i think) and with a suck through, you can intercool, but with a draw through youll need a Pleneum (like with fuel injection). it would probably be a lot either to get get injectors for the pinto. Jinx sold some recently (to methodz i think ??) from the British sierra
