  3. Spot the differences Well I picked the: Grille, Badges, Number Plates & Stereo.
  4. 82 KP61 Starlet, 4K, 4 spd. Got no exhaust (to speak of), burnt clutch, locked diff. Alot of bog too, fully stripped interior and caged. Plus a blingy 7 colour tacho Most recent pic I have it is here: http://img276.echo.cx/img276/3175/dsc027541pl.jpg Next step is further panel and paint, new front bumper, front lip and try and do some custom work with the grille/headlight assembly/holes. Then a new 4K, twin carbs or EFi and a 5spd

    Thats easy to get around, just before it shifts you throttle off to induce the shift then throttle on again. Sounds just like a manual then. Not ideal on the strip though.

Trying to source a 5K & 5 spd box for my starlet because it looks like the current 4K has totally screwed itself and the clutch has packed up. questions - is it a straight bolt out bolt in job for both the box and motor? If not, what needs to be changed or modified to make it fit. Not keen on spending large amounts of moola either.

  13. But it costs alot to do. Mind you, if he's gonna rebuild a 4K it might come out even if he sticks a 4age in. 5K sound much better option though, I might have to get me one eventually lol.

  15. They don't spin backwards do they - they're just in the car back to front, so if you turned them round the right way then you'd have a correctly spinning crank. No? I'm either spot on the money or barking up the wrong tree lol

  17. How high is it currently? I have some fairly low springs in my KP60 (I get guard rub in fact!), might be able to do a swap plus cash?
  18. No matte is matte... and flat is... well flatter.. you knwo what i mean?... like smooth not rough liek matte black is... haha like think of house paint... usually not gloss... but you wouldn't call it matte would you? Semi gloss?
  19. Far as I know flat and matt black are the same colour.

    Well duh.. Rotors are known for it. My mates rota is like a fucking jet fighter sucking in that much gas it aint funny. And we wonder why we never have any?? Burn all the rotors
  22. Lol, not quite zep. They're mounted backwards. Normally motors are mounted east/west (number 1 cylinder on the left looking at it from the front), hondas mount them west/east - so your number 1 cylinder is on the right.
