I've found the maximum possible speed the NBC can do. It hits the rev limiter in top at 111. Sat there for quite a while yesterday morning, before remembering it was an 80k road.

Yes! For those playing along at home, We have two dead bikes, one rode off a particularly gnarly track. (Down about 5m) I hit a massive patch of wet clay, dropped my bike, and snapped the end off my brake lever. (Just the tip/that's what she said) Holy fuck it was a long day!!! Left hanmer before 9am, and reached our accommodation after 730pm. The good news is, tomorrow is a similarly massive day. (Albeit not as challanging terrain)

In other news, We have done some shopping in preparation for this event! spicy snags, pork snags, Lamb and mint snags BACON (More meat than a FOAMER's anal cavity) and 54 cans of beer, and some soft drinks/water. Shits gonna be sweeeet!

To be a proper period correct dorito car, surely it needs repro fibreglass TE27 Levin (fancy KE25 basically) bolt on flares? Bonus points for missing, or better yet mismatched fasteners holding them on.......

Just had a gander at the weather forecast. Yr are predicting showers on friday between 1pm and 5pm. However the further north I looked the smaller the predicted rainfall gets.
