Yes. But motors can blow up if you spin them too fast.
Probably get at least another 20% out of it with no issues
have you ever managed it? we tried sending a little 1hp 4 pole induction motor to the moon but it wouldn't go any faster than about 200hz, i think the rotor iron runs out of ability to conduct(?) the field
maybe with a higher voltage, its definitely on the to-do list.

A 2T will do 15k+rpm, why haven’t we seen gearboxless cars that do huge rpm’s and slide the efficiency band around with modern variable everything technology?
Is it a big-cam conspiracy?

Hah
My brother purchased this
I have some bits for these somewhere for him, brought a dead one (for some other bits) and couldn't get it going, someone had replaced the control/servo amp by chopping each individual wire and wire-nutting in a replacement that had also been chopped out with an axe.
there would have been 500 wirenuts in it, apparently it came from Alaska, they must have nothing to do and lots of meth up there.

it will last forever, we run heaps of the nastiest 15kw ali-express vfds every day for the last 5 years and none have failed.
it also gets you around the stupid export restrictions for 400+hz vfds from proper countrys when you want to run 6 pole motors fast.

I want to do some 12v wiring on a 42d, so fridge power etc.
Where can I get good crimp connectors?
I have one of these tools in a drawer to squish them.
just use these for everything
ive started trimming the crimpy end off ring terminals and joining them to wires using them aswell instead of crimping them, so conveinenrt

those pure nickle rods on an stick welder are amazing and make a first timer look like a pro.
you would probably weld everything with them if they weren't so expensive.

I just noticed my comment above sounds like dodgey border crossing - it wasn’t meant to!!! There’s a good ride out east that needs a little lifting to do

what is the best tool for crimping those narva insulated terminals?
i think ive seen a hexagon one that crimps on all sides like a hose crimping machine?
