yea any pics/tips much appreciated ....also i was looking at my gaurds and tires today and realised they are also rubbing on the inside of the thing ...like at the back by the pedals...tat area ...im guessn the only way to fix this is by getting lower profile tires?

yea thatd be cool thanx ...yea my m8 suggested just rolling it with a pole and then boltng the flares at the point were the smaller flares start

i dont think so they bring the gaurd out about 1-2 " not much but enught to stop the rubbing ...i was gonna grind them off and then bend them slightly out to stop that???.....iunno this is y im asking lol i dont really wanna bend out the gaurd because it might crack the paint

hey guys i got a set of fibreglass flare for $50 and was wonderin how the hell u put them on ..is it just a bit of drillin grinding off the gaurds then bolting on painting etc of is there more to it then that..any help appreciated cheers

yea thats true but i cant be bothered finding one i mean if sumone here has one that can basically drop in and go im keen but otherwise ill stick with the 1300 gets up to 70 and thats all i need to go atm (if i have to travel i use my m8s skyline)

NO!!!! go to super cheap yea setting your timing is simple man i know next to nothing about cars and ive done both the whole light timing one and the points as well ...simple as ..just my two cents

yea i pulle dthe fuse outta the headunit and im thinking its just a wee bit screwed(nt only did the metal melt but the plastic warped too) ...so ima buy some fuses tomorrow and check it all oiut and hopefully it works ..if it dnt well gutted i guess

yea the headunit fuse blew ..but the thing is it goes through one of the fuses in the fuse box so i dnt know y it ddnt melt that first (maybe it cos of the reversed thing) anyhow i suppose shit happens it better work cos my headunit is worth more then the f***n car

well i just got a headunit and intslled it, and i had to take out my old batt to charge, and when put it in i got lost and put the connections on the wrong end (they r both red grr) and when i did this i had secured them on tightly so what happned was all the wires started smoking and all the fuses well...did what overloaded fuses do (thank god)....and now my car wont even turn ...yea just had to vent my anger ....the wires actually melted i have never seen that before ...hmm yes anyhow

ok ive got a 1977 1300 escort and i scraped the idea of getting a bigger engine (petrol prices) and i was wondering how to get some nice quick and cheapish horsepower , my m8s suggested i get extractors (which are sitting in my room) a twin throat carby (down/sidedraguth they ddnt say) and get my cam worked into a lumpy cam or sumthing but i was wondering if there was anythign else i might be overlookoing that could help alot...any help appreciated thank yoiu ...btw my esky was in aucks on fri if anyone saw a blue esky with vinyl roof and turbo mags ..kewl

ok i just found oiut my seats were prelude ones,wether they all dnt have adjustable headrests i dont know but they are prelude seat ...used to be electric but they arnt anymore ....yea..

i think i have prelude seats too ...not sure tho :S my one have a lever dwn by the door along with a memory button thing ....and another lever up by the head...someone siad they were off a prelude as well but im nt sure ...anyone know off the info ive given
