  1. i towed my esky from waipuk to gizzy, (bout 4 hours) and we put a chain around the diff on each side, then had a tie down on each side of the crossmember, a tie down on each side at the back, and an adjustable winch from the crossmember in the middle to the front of the trailor. car didnt move at all, bout half way the winch came a little loose but we just clicked it back up and was fine.

  4. like sykov6 said you really need to know the actual lift and duration, but most likely a stage 5 cam will be shit for road use and you wont get the benefits anywhere below about 5 or 6 rpm
  5. yea talk to atropine, theres some pics and info about his car in the users projects and buildups section.
  6. work out what you think it will cost you at the every most. then tripple that figure and youll start getting close to what it will actually cost...

  15. yea the 1100 manuals came out with single piece, but the 1300 and 1600 came out with two piece shafts, according to mr haynes anyway. might check in the book and see what the auto ones came out with. could always get an auto two piece and take the UV joint off and swap it onto my manual one. have to get the driveshaft shortened then tho. cheers Matt

sweet as. im not sure about certing them at all. i was gona try and use the escort mounts and bolt them back where they were origonally but it was gona imposible and no where near worth it, its kinda annoying coz in the floor of the escort the front is raised up where the 2 front bolts for the seat go in, so if you do it the way i showed in the pic you have to put some more spacing to raise the back up to the same level. cheers matt
  20. awsome. anyone got a single piece auto drive shaft for sale?

put some square steel plates under the floor and both up through from the underside, just get some roughly 6cm by 6cm plates and bolt through them too so it doesnt rip through the floor if you crash. cheers Matt
  22. oh real, thats good as. does the auto shaft need to be shortened or anything? or just completely bolt straight in? cheers Matt

    honda seats

im not sure if you'd need to get it certed, mines not on the road yet so i dunno. as long as the warrant guy could see it was safe, bolted to the floor and welded properly you might be ok?
  24. dont you have to use a sierra clutch and get the escort flywheel machined to fit it?
